Treehaus Studio apartment

Design Theme: Dark Modern-Bohemian Maximalism with Cottagecore Influences

This apartment was such a dream to live in. This was my own space and somewhere I used to experiment with my style until I found what I needed for myself. I had a few pieces already, but wanted upgrades and new pieces to bring everything together. Posted are pictures of the final layout and product selections I came up with while working on the space. Included are a few of the original items I had when I moved in. I lived here for just about 2 years and put together a very cozy space!

Final Photos listed as well!

Bonus, you get to see what my designing skills used to look like before I got better at rendering and building 3D designs!

  • This studio apartment was so fun to work on. The layout was great, with an open plan living and kitchen area and a reasonably sized bedroom nook space. The closet provided lots of storage and the bathroom was spacious and beautifully decorated by the builders.

Floor to ceiling windows lined the entire living and kitchen wall, providing a ton of gorgeous natural south-facing sunlight.

  • The vibe for this space was eclectic moody witch meets modern bright apartment life. I loved designing around the windows, the all black kitchen, and the cozy nook. This space was really a great test run and where I truly found my personal style. I loved living here, and by the time I moved out, I felt I had truly accomplished the vision I was aiming for, which was an extremely satisfying feeling.

  • This apartment was less than 700 sq ft but was surprisingly spacious. I experimented a lot with storage solutions, and I think this is where my love of organizers really spawned from.

Living in small spaces really makes you consider every piece of furniture that you own. Every single piece I selected and collected over the 2 years I lived in this adorable apartment was picked with intention and consciousness of the overall aesthetic of the space while also considering the functionality and comfort as well.
